This data set represents the extent of the areas in the conterminous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and the Pacific Trust Territory that currently have digital wetlands data available on the following wetlands mapper: <http://wetlandsfws.er.usgs.gov/>.
Purpose:
This data was created as a tool to identifiy the extent of the mapped areas at a smaller scale than the actual wetlands could be functionally shown, such as at a national or state level.
