Wetland Resource Attribution and Verification ToolsTool Download InformationThe customized attribution and verification tools Version 2.5.1 have been recompiled for use on ArcGIS version 9.1 and version 9.2. They were designed for use with the Environmental Systems Research Institutes (ESRI) ArcMap for ArcInfo. Furthermore, the tools were designed to work specifically with geodatabases. They have not been developed or tested for use with shapefiles or coverages. The Verification Tools ignore layers in ArcMap that are not stored in geodatabases. The new version of the tools incorporates new and improved functions. Version 2.5.1 organizes geodatabase edits into transaction groups in order to help the ArcMap environment keep better track of the geodatabase edits. This version also increases the speed of the Adjacent Polygon - Same Attribute function. It drops support for the NWI attribute code parsing and relies solely on the master list of acceptable NWI codes for verification. Version 2.5.1 also fixes several minor problems and works more quickly in certain applications. Users of these customized attribution and verification tools should be experienced with ESRIs ArcGIS software, and have some familiarity with geodatabases and editing spatial data. Before installation of these tools read the hardware/software System Requirements paper and the Installation Instructions for Custom Attribution and Verification Tools Version 2.5.1 to be sure all the software has been installed correctly. Also refer to the Arc Users Manuals for ArcGIS 9.1 or 9.2 versions for explanation of any ESRI specific software questions.
